Documenting the journey of a Cameroonian filmmaker

Camwood, Kamwood, Collywood, Callywood or Camerlywood?

A couple of months ago I took part in a debate on facebook where some people were trying to justify the different names attributed to the Cameroonian Film Industry. It seems as if every movie production comes up with its own abbreviation for the industry; Kamwood, Camwood, Collywood, Callywood or Camerlywood. Which is it people? We desperately need some kind of structure if we are to move forward. Seriously!

We really have to come together (All Cameroonians) and figure this out!

I am tired of all the woods in Cameroon, I wonder what we can do to have just one Wood. Besides, must it be a Wood?

Well, it’s best if they settle on a single name.. I have seen a few Collywood creations and I was really impressed I must say
