After an 18 day revolution by the people of Egypt, president Hosni Mubarak’s 30-year rule finally came to an end today February 11th. The long-awaited news was broadcasted through the National TV station by vice president Omar Suleiman to deafening roars of applause and jubilation. ‘Egypt is free’ and ‘God is Great’ could be heard chanted on the streets.
In other news, the Swiss government has instructed its banks to freeze all of Mr. Mubarak’s assets until further notice.

About time we got rid of all these African dictators, Paul Biya included. A new wave of change is blowing through Africa. Exciting times for us all, Cameroonians please we need to wake up and oust Paul Biya too. When will these African leaders ever learn that their stolen booties stored in these European banking institutions are just there to serve the Europeans? Assets frozen indeed and I bet you Egypt will not see a dime of that money.
